Album Cover Ideas

As we have decided to do a duo rather than a solo artist we have been rethinking our ideas for an album cover. As the duo represent different groups in society, we thought 'Blurring Boundaries' would be a good album cover name. We have also been discussing ideas for the image that will feature on our album cover, and have tested one of our ideas. We developed this idea after Mel suggested doing something similar to the 'Face Off' album cover (pictured below)



Ours features both artists back to back, with the centre of the image blurred. This highlights their differences as people and in their music styles. The artists are facing away from each other to show that their styles are very different, however the blurring of the two images will show that although very different from each other, they are coming together through music. In contrast the 'Face Off' album image is used to show the similarities of the two artists.
